Regulatory Committee

The Committee has responsibility for matters relating to the licensing of taxi and private hire vehicles/drivers/operators in the Borough.   The Committee will also undertake the licensing functions of the Council including health and safety at work/fire safety and Health Act 2006.   In connection with the consideration and determination of applications or concerning complaints against individual licence-holders under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 the Committee also has delegated its powers for hearings to be dealt with by the Council's Licensing Sub-Committee.
