To adopt the new Garage Policy and publish on
the TDC website.

Reasons for the decision

The policy provides the rules for how the TDC
rents the garages in its HRA garage stock. It provides clear
guidelines for officers and residents of TDC that want to rent a
garage.

Alternative options considered

To not adopt the policy for use -
this was a recommendation by audit what was accepted;

 

Revise the policy - the policy has
been written by officers that have been managing the garage stock
and are therefore considered experts. The garage licence and thus
terms and obligations have been reviewed and approved by
TDC’s legal team.
