Decision

That an amount of £27,083.06 be awarded from the Torquay allocation of the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund to Torbay Communities for work to consolidate and further develop the Neighbourhood Planning Process for Torquay and Paignton.   

Reasons for the decision

The applications were considered by the CiL Spend Panel on 1 April 2025 and recommendations were made to the Divisional Director of Planning, Housing and Climate Emergency.

Alternative options considered

An alternative option would have been to refuse the application, this option was discounted as the application met the criteria for funding.
