Decision

That an amount of £21,000 be
awarded from the Paignton allocation of the Community
Infrastructure Levy Fund to Paignton Rugby Club for carrying
out the necessary works at Clennon Valley playing fields to
create perfect pitches for use by Paignton Rugby club and various
other clubs.
 

Reasons for the decision

The applications were considered
by the CiL Spend
Panel on 7 October 2025 and
recommendations were made to the Divisional Director of Planning,
Housing and Climate Emergency.
 

Alternative options considered

An alternative option would have been to refuse
the application, this option was
discounted as the application met the criteria for
funding.
