That an amount of £25,000 be awarded from the Paignton allocation of the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund to Paignton Monastery CIC for works required at Paignton Monastery.

Reasons for the decision

The applications were considered by the CiL Spend Panel on 13 October 2026 and recommendations were made to the Divisional Director, Place Strategy.

Alternative options considered

An alternative option would have been to refuse the application, this option was discounted as the application met the criteria for funding.
