To provide an overview of the current
financial pressure on the Council as a result of the continued
provision of high numbers of temporary accommodation placements to
meet the Council’s statutory responsibility under the
provisions of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014 alongside consideration
of a range of options to seek to mitigate this overall cost to the
Council whilst ensuring that provision meets the statutory
requirements and responsibilities.
