To obtain approval of the restructure of the
Council’s Legal Services as set out in Appendix 2.

Key areas for approval:
• the creation of new posts identified within that
structure,
• the collaboration with Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council
(“BG”) in the appointment of a Litigation and Adult
Social Care Solicitor to sit within Legal Services TCBC but serve
the requirements of BG pursuant to an agreement under s113 of the
Local Government Act 1972,
• the movement of the Council’s Local Land Charges
Function from ABS Business Support Team to Legal Services sitting
within the Property and Development Team.
