Cabinet
agreed:
(i)
That the Council
dispose of its freehold interest in Units 4 – 9 Pontnewynydd Industrial Estate, along with
adjoining land and the building known as Brookside Garage,
Pontnewyydd, Pontypool at a sale price of £325,000 (Three
hundred and twenty five thousand pounds) to Brick Fabrication
Limited
(ii)
To delegate authority
to the Executive Member for Resources and Corporate Governance to
determine any other matters pertaining to the disposal that require
member approval, including reasonable disturbance costs to be paid
to the tenant of Unit 6 if a relocation to other premises is
agreed.
(iii)
That implementation of
the terms included within the report is urgent for the reason that
the sale needs to be completed this financial year to comply with
the terms of the grant from Welsh Government.
