To seek approval to award a contract to Reith
Consulting Ltd for the development of a comprehensive Destination
Management Plan for Torfaen County Borough. The commission will
deliver a strategic review of the current destination offer,
identify development opportunities, target audiences, and thematic
approaches, and establish a long-term vision for the visitor
economy. The resulting DMP will include an operating model for
governance and delivery, supported by a phased action plan for
short, medium, and long-term interventions, with an initial
three-year operating plan.
