Purpose

Furhter to a reduction in hours, when the
Monitoring Officer is not contractually required to work it will be
necessary for another officer to be appointed as Monitoring Officer
in order that the statutory requirements are fulfilled, Council is
required to make that appointment.

Council unanimously agreed to appoint Polly
Ellis, Head of Legal, as Monitoring Officer for the periods when
the Monitoring Officer is not contractually required to work.
