To seek approval to create and recruit Casual
Maintenance Assistant posts to support the essential maintenance
and upkeep of Greenmeadow Community Farm.

These positions are required to address:
• A backlog of maintenance tasks created due to long-term
staff sickness
• Increasing operational demands associated with the upcoming
Spring and Summer periods
• The need to maintain buildings, grounds, enclosures,
facilities, and infrastructure to a high standard for visitor
safety and experience

As these are casual posts, there is no associated FTE
establishment, and hours will be allocated flexibly based on
operational requirements. This will be a fixed term role until end
September 2026.
