Purpose

To inform members of revisions to the political balance of the Council as a result of changes listed in the body of this report and seek agreement to the updated political balance until AGM in May 2027 or until further changes are required.

Decision

Council unanimously agreed/agreed with the majority voting in favour to:

-       the change in political balance and to adopt the political balance calculations attached at Appendix A to the report.

-       appoint members to serve on the committees affected by the changes as shown in Appendix B to the report, and to the changes proposed by Cllr David Thomas.
