Purpose

To constitute arrangements for Torfaen Council to undertake joint scrutiny with Blaenau Gwent.

Decision

Council unanimously agreed, subject to approval by Blaenau Gwent Council, to:

-       Adopt the Joint Scrutiny Protocol (attached as Appendix 1 to the report), and

-       Delegate authority to the Monitoring Officer (in consultation with the Members Constitution Working Party) to make the necessary changes to the Council’s Constitution.
