Purpose

To propose changes to the executive members
and scrutiny committee portfolios for agreement by
Council.

Content

Council unanimously agreed to:
 

1.   
Approve the changes to the Executive Member
Portfolios as set out in Appendix 1 of the report.

2.   
Approve the changes to the Scrutiny Committee
Portfolios as set out in Appendix 2 of the report.

3.   
Note that appointments to the amended Executive
Member and Scrutiny Portfolios will be made at Annual Council in
May 2024.

4.   
Delegate authority to the Monitoring Officer (in
consultation with the Members Constitution Working Party) to make
the changes required to the Council’s Constitution including
designating Adult & Communities O&S Committee as the Crime
& Disorder Committee
