Approval given, in consultation with the
Executive Member, for the planned night service contract to be
awarded to Company 5 for a period of 2 years and with the option to
extend for up to an additional 24-month period. It is recommended
that should Company 5, for whatever reason, not accept the
opportunity; it is awarded to Company 1 as it is the view of the
Panel that both tenderers are able to deliver the contract.
