Decision
The Mayor in Sub-Committee RESOLVED that;
- Notes the Performance and Landlord Compliance position as at the end of April 2025.
- Agrees to the actions outlined within the report submitted to address areas of performance where targets are not being achieved.
Reasons for the decision
The RSH Safety & Quality and Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standards outline our responsibilities as a Registered Provider to assure ourselves that we are providing safe, quality homes and services for our residents. The Standards also require that we are transparent with our residents on how we are performing as a landlord and that we are providing timely, accurate information for our governing body and residents to scrutinise and hold us to account.
Alternative options considered
There are no alternative options. In order to strengthen our governance and
scrutiny of performance, we have established the Housing Management
Cabinet Sub-Committee and this reporting on Performance and Compliance
will be a standing item on meetings going forward to ensure performance and
the associated improvement plans to address performance are scrutinised
and challenged at the highest level.
