Purpose

Historically, requests have
been received by the Council and Ward Members showing concern
regarding inconsiderate parking on The Causeway.
The Causeway is experiencing
high levels of parking demand from residents visiting the town
centre and businesses using The Causeway for loading.
The proposal therefore seeks to
formalise the parking by means of the limited waiting, limited
loading and disabled bays.

Decision

1.     
That authorisation be given to advertise the
intention to introduce the Traffic Regulation Order, as detailed on
drawing numbers E9362-02 and detailed in the schedule, and that, if
no objections are maintained, the order be made and implemented in
whole or in part, as soon as is practicable.

 
2.     
That any objections maintained be reported back to
Members for consideration.
