Purpose
The Firs Primary School has increased
from a 2-form entry school to a 3-form entry school, and after the
expansion the school will cater for an additional 210 pupils. To
accommodate the increase of pupils a new pedestrian access onto
Firs Road has been included as part of the expansion works. Firs
Primary School have asked the Council to install a School Keep
Clear marking to prevent vehicles from parking directly outside the
new access to maintain pedestrian safety. The proposal includes a
length of No Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.
By introducing the proposed restrictions,
it will provide a clear path for pedestrians to access the school
without vehicular conflict maintaining pedestrian
safety.

17th December 2024 – 7th January 2025.
A total of 2 objections to the proposal.
Having considered the representations received, approval is
sought to introduce the scheme as shown on drawing E9352-02 and

and introduce the Traffic Regulation Order as advertised, as

3)
That the objectors be informed of the decision
made.
