Decision

1.     That the
contents of the report be noted.
 

2.     That it
be agreed in principle, that the Council will no longer delegate
the social work function, relating to the provision of care and
support to people with severe and enduring mental health needs to
those eligible, to Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS
Trust.

 

3.    
That it be agreed in principle, that the social work function
detailed in the above recommendation shall return to the
Council.

 

4.    
That the Director of Adult Social Services be delegated authority
to develop a delivery model and to take any other actions
reasonably required to implement these recommendations.
