Decision

(1)      
That the request from the Chief Constable of Greater
Manchester Police to introduce an Anti-Terrorism Traffic Regulation
Order (ATTRO), be noted.

 
(2)      
That the proposal for the ATTRO, be approved in
principle, subject to the applicable statutory
processes.

 
(3)      
That approval be given to enter into a Memorandum of
Understanding with Greater Manchester Police that sets out the
specific working / operational arrangements for implementation of
the ATTRO.
