Purpose

To seek approval to introduce
disabled residents’ permit parking bays on Addison Crescent,
Skerton Road and Trent Bridge Walk, Old Trafford.

Decision

That the introduction
of disabled residents’ permit parking bays on Addison
Crescent, Skerton Road and Trent Bridge
Walk, Old Trafford be approved.

 

That authorisation be
given to advertise the intention of making the Traffic Regulation
Order referred to in the schedules to the report and, if no
objections are maintained, that the Order be made, in whole or in
part, and the proposals implemented.

 

That a consultation
be carried out with nearby residents in each location.

Reasons for the decision

It is considered that the
disabled residents of Addison Crescent, Skerton Road and Trent Bridge Walk, Old Trafford
would benefit from the introduction of a disabled residents’
permit parking space at each location, that would allow vehicles to
be parked close to their houses, at any time.
