Decision

1.   
That authorisation be given to advertise the intention
to introduce the Traffic Regulation Orders as detailed in the
Schedules 1 to this report and that, if no objections are
maintained, the Order be made and implemented in whole or in part,
as soon as is practicable. 
 
2.   
That authorisation be given to make the Experimental
Traffic Regulation Order, as detailed in the Schedule to this
report; that a notice of making the Order is published and that the
provisions of the Order be implemented. 

 
3.   
That any objections received during the relevant
periods of objection be reported back to Members for
consideration. 

 
4.   
That authority be delegated to the Corporate
Director of Place to make and advertise any amendments or
variations to the Experimental Traffic Order as they see fit in
accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984. 

 
5.   
That, if no objections to the Experimental Traffic
Regulation Order, amendment or variation are maintained, the Order
be made permanent.

Reasons for the decision

It
is recommended that, in the interests of improved traffic
management, road safety, and to support the Councils Active Travel;
ambitions, that approval is given to advertise the proposed
Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders. That are detailed in the
schedule contained within this report, and as shown on drawings
numbered E9465-0.
