Decision
1)
That the responses to, and outcome of, the
consultation, be considered.
2)
That the implementation of the following fee rates
from 1 April 2026, be approved:
a)
Homecare: 4.6% increase, £22.64 to
£23.68 per hour.
b)
Residential and Nursing Care – new placements
framework rate to be £950 for both with
no uplift for existing placements currently exceeding this
rate.
3)
Supported Living Rate: 4.6% increase for providers
paying the Real Living Wage. National Living Wage payers will
receive 3.54%. There is no standard rate for Supported Living so
rates will vary.
4)
Day Services: 4.6% increase. There is no standard
rate for Day Services so rates will vary.
5)
That the recommendation to offer the Trafford inflationary uplift for out of borough placements.
3.54% for Community based care and 3.24% for bed-based care, be
approved.
6)
That in approving the above, it has taken into
consideration the Council’s Public Sector Equality
duty.
