Purpose

Problems caused by on-street
parking at the Lyndhurst Avenue / Davyhulme Road junction have been the subject of
complaints made by residents to the Council.
 
Parking at the junction
obscures visibility for all road users using Lyndhurst Avenue /
Davyhulme Road junction. It is
considered that the junction would benefit from the introduction of
junction protection and that its introduction will alleviate the
obstructive and hazardous parking currently taking
place.

Decision

 
1.         
That authorisation be given to advertise the
intention to introduce the Traffic Regulation Order as detailed in
the Schedule to the report and that, if no objections are
maintained, the Order be made and implemented in whole or in part,
as soon as is practicable.
 

2.     That any
objections maintained be reported back for
consideration.
