Purpose

Trafford Council has been
successful in bidding for £1.6 million of funding from Sport
England’s Strategic Facilities Fund, which is to be used on
the ongoing redevelopment of Altrincham Leisure Centre.
 
Approval is required to accept
the grant and to delegate authority to the Corporate Director of
Place to have delegated authority to agree the final terms and
conditions of the funding.

Decision

1)   
That the Council accept the funding, as set out in
the report.

 

2)   
That the Corporate Director of Place be delegated
authority, in consultation with the Director of Legal and
Governance and Monitoring Officer and the Director of Finance to
enter into the funding agreement and any other terms and conditions
associated with receiving the funding from Sport England’s
Strategic Facilities Fund.
