Purpose

The
Council has been contacted by residents concerned with
inconsiderate parking on Thorley Lane obscuring visibility for
motorists The issue is always there as people are parking here to
use the airport leaving their vehicles for days/weeks.
 
The
proposal seeks to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time,
restrictions to deter parking issues, to improve visibility and
road safety for all road users.

Decision

1.    
That authorisation be given to advertise the intention to introduce
the Traffic Regulation Order as detailed in the Schedule to the
report and that, if no objections are maintained, the Order be made
and implemented in whole or in part, as soon as is
practicable.

 

2.    
That any objections maintained be reported back for
consideration.
