Purpose

Following the introduction of
the Trafford General Parking Resident Only Parking scheme and the
subsequent review, there continues to be a
number of issues raised by residents and Councillors with
regards to on-street parking at several junctions in the area
surrounding the Hospital.

The proposal seeks to introduce
‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions to deter the
reported parking issues and to improve pedestrian access and
visibility for all road users.
 

Decision

1.   
That authorisation be given to advertise the
intention to introduce the Traffic Regulation Order as detailed in
the Schedule to the report and that, if no objections are
maintained, the Order be made and implemented in whole or in part,
as soon as is practicable.

 
2.   
That any objections maintained be reported back for
consideration.
