Purpose

The
Council has been contacted by residents concerned with parking at
the junction of Lyndhurst Avenue and Davyhulme Road obscuring visibility for motorists
entering / exiting the junction putting all road users in
danger.
 
The
proposal seeks to introduce a ‘No Waiting at Any Time’
restriction in the form of junction protection at the above
location to deter the reported parking issues and to improve
visibility for all road users.
 
The
formal consultation took place on 7th February 2024. One objection
and two other responses were received.
 
Having considered the representations received, approval was to
be given to introduce the scheme as shown on drawing number
E9245.

Decision

1)   
That the results of the consultation and objections
received be noted.

 
2)   
That following careful consideration of the
objections and comments received, authorisation be given to make
and implement the Order as advertised and shown on drawing number
E9245 and in the schedule contained within the report.

 
3)   
That the objectors be informed of the decision
made.
