Purpose

This
report provides an update on the Trafford Affordable Housing Fund
and the amount of funding currently available, to support new
affordable homes in the borough.
 
The
report seeks approval to increase the Trafford Affordable Fund
grant rates to match those of the Homes England Affordable Homes
Programme. The report also seeks approval of the new Trafford
Affordable Housing Fund Prospectus which provides a summary of the
Fund including the aims, the types of housing tenures supported,
the bidding process, the grant rates available and how bids are
assessed.
 

Decision

1)   
That content of the report and the update on the
Trafford Affordable Housing fund, be noted.
2)   
That the increase in the grant rates provided by the
Trafford Affordable Housing Fund as detailed in Section 3, be
approved.
3)   
That the new Trafford Affordable Housing Fund
Prospectus, be approved.
