Essex Police, Fire and Crime Panel (External)

The Essex Police, Fire and Crime Panel is made up of representatives from 15 local authorities across Essex, plus co-opted and independent members. It meets at least four times a year to scrutinise the work of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, acting as a critical friend to support their role.

This panel is external to Uttlesford District Council and its primary function is to provide oversight and challenge to the Commissioner's activities.
