Purpose
To consider an application from Botley and
North Hinksey Parish Council for £250,000 from
the CIL allocation for 'Botley Pavilion' in the council's
capital programme for provision of a new pavilion at Louie Memorial
Field.
Decision
RESOLVED
to
(a)
approve the award of the £250,000 Community Infrastructure
Levy (CIL) allocation in the council’s capital programme for
‘Botley Pavilion’ to Botley and North Hinksey Parish
Council towards delivery of phase one of the proposed pavilion
project as set out in this report.
(b) authorise the Head of
Finance, in consultation with the Head of Legal and Democratic
to:
a. Agree and enter into a
funding agreement with Botley and North Hinksey Parish Council
regarding the terms of use of the CIL funding; the instalments in
which the funding is paid; the timing of instalments; the
conditions subject to which instalments are paid and to otherwise
protect the interests of Vale of White Horse District Council as
the provider of the funding by undertaking legal and financial due
diligence including being satisfied that the funding is lawful and
compliant with subsidy control provisions.
b. Approve the release of the
funding to Botley and North Hinksey Parish Council subject to and
in accordance with the funding agreement.
