Purpose

To approve the procurement of an offline backup and
recovery solution to protect the councils Microsoft 365 data in the
event of a cyber incident.
 

Decision

To award a
contract on behalf of South Oxfordshire District Council and Vale
of White Horse District Council to Phoenix Software Ltd for an
offline backup and recovery solution for Microsoft 365 managed
data.  The contract duration is three
years, commencing XXXX, for a total value of
£172,762[BW1] [ST2] 
 

 [BW1]Is this a South contract
or are both councils going to be signatories?  If both, does the contract specify how the
invoicing is going to work (each council invoiced for its 50%
share, or one council invoiced)?

 [ST2]The payment profile will
be to South and an internal recharge is made using the standard
mechanism for south/vale recharges.
Normally the Gcloud contract names both councils and the DA will be
signed by both cabinet members
