Decision

1)   
To utilise £90,000 funding over three years, (with equal
payments of £30,000 in 2024/25, 2025/26 and 2026/27) from
Oxfordshire County Council, (Healthy Place Shaping team), to
address some of the key priority areas for action from the
Oxfordshire Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2024-30. Active
Communities will deliver against the priorities to:

a)   
Support cycling and walking activation to increase physical
activity and reduce carbon emissions

b)   
Promote green prescribing and access to nature to improve mental
wellbeing
2)   
To delegate authority to the Head of Communities to agree and
approve the terms of the funding agreement with Oxfordshire County
Council.
3)   
To delegate authority to accept and allocate this funding for
Healthy Place Shaping to the Head of Finance & Section 151
officer in consultation with the Head of Communities.
