Purpose

This report seeks approval for the tendering
of new contracts for Young People’s Accommodation-based
Housing Support Services. The support services are essential for
enabling vulnerable young people including care leavers to live
safely in the community.

Decision

1) 
Approve the tendering
of new contracts for Young People’s Housing Support Services
(Accommodation-based) for a period of 5 years, with an extension
option of up to a further two years commencing on 1st October 2025,
until 30th September 2032. The maximum cost is £581,133 per annum
or a total contract value over the potential seven-year period of
£4,067,931, plus inflationary increases. Two providers would
be sought.
 
2) 
Approve the use of the
SO83A procedure for the award of contract.
