Purpose

To award contracts for tree supply, planting
and aftercare services

Decision

1.1. Approve the tendering of
new contracts for tree supply, planting, and aftercare services for
the London Borough of Wandsworth, commencing on 1 April 2026 for a
period of four years and an option to extend for a further period
of up to four years.
1.2. Subject to approval to
tender as noted in 1.1 delegate authority to the Executive Director
of Environment and Community Services in consultation with the
Executive Director of Finance, and the Cabinet Member for
Environment to:
1.2.1. Develop the
specification and scope of services;
1.2.2. Agree the
procurement strategy and tendered services;
1.2.3. Go to the
market and tender the services.
1.3. Note that a report will
return to Cabinet to seek approval for the contract
awards.
