Purpose

1.1.To approve the various forecasts for the use of temporary accommodation during 2025/26 for statutory homeless households (Appendix 1 at paragraphs 63 to 73 and the tables therein);

1.2.To approve the targets for homelessness prevention activity in 2025/26 (Appendix 1 at paragraphs 74 to 77 and the table therein),

1.3.approve the resources forecast for 2025/26 and the commitments/allocations plan forecast for 2025/26 (Appendix 2);

1.4.To approve the acquisition by purchase of 4-bed and larger homes to reduce the use of large temporary accommodation placements and associated costs as detailed in Appendix 1 at paragraphs 78 to 91 and the tables therein;

1.5.To approve a positive HRA capital budget variation of £10 million in 2025/26 and £15 million in 2026/27 for the proposed acquisitions.
