Purpose

To approve the direct award of contracts to
Citizens Advice Wandsworth and South West London and St George's
Mental Health NHS Trust to continue the provision of generalist and
specialist advice for people who live or provide unpaid care for
someone living in the borough until 31 March 2026.

Decision

1) 
To approve the direct
award of a contract to Citizens Advice Wandsworth for the provision
of Community Advice Services for a period of two years from 1st
April 2024 to 31st March 2026. The total value of the contract at
2022/23 prices is £1,026,826 with an annual contract value of
£513,413. The total and annual contract values are comprised
of 87% of funding (£446,496 annually) for the generalist
advice element of the service and 13% (£66,917 annually) for
the specialist advice service.  Each
annual value is subject to inflationary uplift as per the contract
terms.

2) 
To approve the direct
award of a contract to South West London and St George’s
Mental Health NHS Trust for the provision of Mental Health Benefits
Advice for a period of two years from 1st April 2024 to 31st March
2026. The annual estimated value is £39,261.  Each annual value is subject to inflationary
uplift as per the contract terms.
