to:
(a) Recommend to Council
to:
(i) Approve the
application of a below inflation uplift for Basic and Special
Responsibility Allowances to take effect from 1 April 2023.
(by 7 votes for and 6
against)
(ii) Approve the
amendments to the appendix to the Members’ Allowances Scheme
for 2023/24, as set out in Appendix 3. (by 7 votes for, 5 against,
with 1 abstention)
(b) Recommend to Council to
approve the increases to the allowances payable to the Mayor and
Deputy Mayor as set out in the amendments to Mayoralty Guidelines,
attached as Appendix 4. (by 7 votes for, 5 against, with 1
abstention)
