Purpose

The future delivery of the Wandsworth Sensory
Support Service for children and young people with a Sensory
Impairment from September 2023.

Decision

(1) 
To approve a change to the recommendation set out in
SO83(A) Ref. No. C33 so that the management of the Hearing Impaired
(HI) resource bases at Sellincourt
Primary School and Southfields Academy transfers with the rest of
the Wandsworth Sensory Support Service (WSSS) to the
Council.
 
(2) 
To note that 3 members of the WSSS who currently
work full-time at Linden Lodge Special School will not transfer to
the Council but will be retained by the school and be part of their
staffing complement. This will have no impact on the WSSS service
delivery and will ensure a seamless transition for children and
families.
