Overview and Scrutiny Committee

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee is Watford Borough Council's main committee for reviewing the council's work. It examines decisions made by the Cabinet, Portfolio Holders, and Officers, and monitors the council's performance. The committee also tracks recommendations from past reviews and oversees the progress of its own task groups, which are formed to investigate specific topics. It is responsible for setting the committee's ongoing work programme.
