Decision

Resolved –
 

1.      that Cabinet agrees the
council proceeds with the disposal of the council’s remaining
land interest at Croxley View, as set out in paragraph 4.4, having
taken into consideration the responses received through the s123
consultation.

 

2.     
that the Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the
Portfolio Holder for Finance, HR, ICT, Legal and Democratic
Services, Revenues & Benefits, Property, Community Assets and
Shared Services, is authorised to finalise the terms of sale for
disposal of the council’s remaining land interest at Croxley
View to Watford Community Housing for less than best consideration,
having taken into consideration UK subsidy controls.

 

3.      that the council works
with Watford Community Housing to provide regular feedback to
residents nearby to keep them informed of the progress of the
proposed housing development.

 

4.      that the progress of the
housing development to be monitored at the six-monthly Strategic
Meetings held between the council and Watford Community Housing,
which includes the Elected Mayor and the Portfolio Holder for
Housing and Wellbeing, and to be reported through the
council’s quarterly delivery plan monitoring
protocol.
