Purpose

To
inform the Parking Lead Officer of the responses received to the
statutory consultation which was carried out between the 17th of
November and the 9th December 2023 on the above named Traffic
Regulation Order (TRO).
 
To note
that the objections and comments received to the statutory
consultation have been shared with the Portfolio Holder and
Vicarage Ward Councillors, who have agreed to proceed to implement
the proposed changes of the operational hours. 
 
To seek
authorisation to inform residents that the new operational hours,
and increase in visitor permit voucher allocations, will come into
effect and amend the signage in Controlled Parking Zones J and K
accordingly.

That
the above-named Traffic Regulation Order be implemented, through
publication of a “Notice of Making”, along with
introducing the on street signing changes, and sealing of the
Traffic Regulation Order

 

To
advise properties with Zones J and K by post of the decision to
extend the operational hours of the Zones to Monday to Sunday 8am
to 10pm, two weeks prior to the implementation (“go
live”) date.
