Purpose

There are two servers with 2012R2 Operating
System which are going end of life in October 2023. They host the
Commvault backup system at both Watford BC and Three Rivers
DC.
To address the requirement of having to purchase a new server, the
storage hardware and the cost of having to migrate to the Commvault
backup, a single appliance that will replace the server and storage
device was purchased. This appliance is an all-in-one product which
will be less complex by design and easier to support going
forward.

Decision

Approval of the direct award of the Commvault
backup appliance to European Electronique/Coolspirit for a 5 year
term.
