Purpose

To
inform the Parking Lead Officer of the need to implement the
proposal, which forms the subject of the above-named Traffic
Regulation Orders (TRO).
 
To seek
authorisation to publish “Notice of Proposals”
and:
 

a)    
…. where no objections are received or where
objections are subsequently withdrawn “Make” the TROs
and implement the proposal and:
 

b)    
….where
objections are received and not subsequently
withdrawn, report the details of the objections together with
Officer’s recommendations so that further instructions can be
obtained.
 
To seek
authorisation to consult residents/businesses in the immediate
vicinity of the proposal by means of a letter and plan drawing
their attention to the published “Notice of Proposals”
and explaining how they can obtain more details of the proposals
and make representations should they wish. In addition to consult
with statutory consultees, erect on street notices and advertise a
Notice of Proposal in the Watford Observer.
 

Post consultation
 
The purpose of this report
is:
To inform the Parking
Lead Officer of comments and objections received following the
statutory consultation process which was carried out between the
17th February and
23rd March 2023 and; 
 
To seek authorisation
from the Parking Lead Officer to implement the above titled traffic
orders, by publishing the “Notice of Making”, procuring
the sign and line works associated with the proposals, and sealing
the Traffic Regulation Order. 
 
Recommendation
 
That the Parking Lead Officer
authorises all the actions as described in paragraphs 1.1.2
above.

Regulation Orders, and that the TROs be sealed and the sign/lining

2.    
Lining work associated with the proposals at
Southwold Road to not be  implemented
until a decision is made by the Portfolio Holder
 

3.    
Proposals at Perivale Gardens be removed from the
advertised TRO and not implemented
