Purpose

Watford Council has received £231,000 grant from MHCLG, under the LAHF grant programme, to purchase a 4 bed house in Watford for use as social rented general needs housing.

To make the purchase viable the council will need to add £150,000 capital to the grant allocation.

Decision

The Mayor approved the decision to use commuted sums to support the cost of LAHF purchase.
