Purpose

Further to approval from Cabinet on 1 June 2026 on the responses to MHCLG relating to the contents of the Structural Changes Order for Local Government Reorganisation, the Elected Mayor and Chief Executive, using the delegation provided to them, have agreed the final wording of the responses alongside Leaders of the other Hertfordshire authorities

Decision

That the responses as set out within the document, which materially align with those agreed by Cabinet, will be submitted to MHCLG to inform the Structural Changes Order for Local Government Reorganisation
