Purpose
To
inform the Parking Lead Officer, following the decision of Cabinet,
in January 2024 to increase charges in relation to, off street, car
parking, and on street Pay & Display provision, which form the
subject of the above Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO). In addition
to increase charges of on street parking charges and permit prices
associated with the Controlled Parking Zones, which will be
advertised through a notice of variation.
To seek
authorisation to publish a “Notice of Proposals”
and:
a)
…. where no objections are received or where objections are
subsequently withdrawn “Make” the TROs and implement
the proposal and:
b)
…. where objections are received and not subsequently
withdrawn, report the details of the objections together with
Officer’s recommendations so that further instructions can be
obtained.
