Purpose

Following a competitive tender process, Watford
Community Housing won the Hostels and Properties Management and
Maintenance contract.
The contract was an initial 5 years with the option for up to 2
years extension. The 5 years runs from 01/10/19-30/09/2024.
We are recommending the full 2 year extension,
01/10/2024-30/09/2026, which Watford Community Housing have
agreed.

Decision

Agreed to extend the contract for two years as it represents
best value at the present time and enables further work to be
undertaken prior to the next contract to ensure procurement
reflects the updated stock.
