Purpose

Addition of contemporary and complementary
elements in the form of a new volume to the north-west of the Old
Station House, a small extension to the south-east, refurbishment
of the interior, and external works to improve the setting of the
Grade II listed building, including the removal of the concrete
ramp between St Albans Road and the amenity area to the northwest
of the site, to provide enhanced pedestrian and wheelchair access
and suitable amenity space for the proposed use as a public
house.
