Purpose

The Council has secured funding under the
Government's PSDS programme. This report will be seeking a
delegated decision to enable appointment of contractor(s) to carry
out works on three community buildings (Palace Theatre, Orbital
Community Centre and Harebreaks Community Centre).

Decision

Resolved –
 

1.      that the procurement strategy set out
within the report is agreed.

 

2.      that delegated authority
is granted to the Head of Property in consultation with the
Portfolio Holder of Property and Community Assets to appoint
contractors for the PSDS works for the Palace Theatre, Orbital
Community Centre and Harebreaks Community Centre subject to
sufficient budget approval being in place.
